PATONG BEACH AFTER TSUNAMI
                    ∙ Its epicenter was off the west coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, with a magnitude of 9.1 to 9.3 – the 3rd largest ever recorded (and slightly more intense than the 9.0 EQ near Japan which occurred on 3/11/11)
                    ∙ The EQ caused a series of devastating tsunamis along the coasts of most land masses bordering the Indian Ocean, killing 230,210 people in 14 countries
                    ∙ It was one of the 10 deadliest natural disasters in recorded history, along with the Haiti EQ on 1/12/10 (which killed 316,000)
