CAIRO TO ATHENS

  • We awoke this morning, staring out at the Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo, Egypt.  Tonight, we ate dinner at the highest point in Athens, Greece (Lycabettus Hill), gazing upon its incredible Acropolis, Parthenon, Olympic Stadium, Temple of Zeus and skyline by sunset.  What can I say?  Life’s incredible sometimes.

ROYAL OLYMPIC HOTEL

  •           Our hotel is situated across the street from the Temple of Zeus and has a decent view of the Parthenon, too!  And it’s really pretty – not as nice as our hotels in Egypt, but decent anyway.

Very Very nice, I will have to catch Grandma up with your posts as she and Andrea with Anita are currently in Texas! Hey, have George ready with the video camera when you greet your dogs! Should be happy times for both! Wonderful pictures and memories! Them young-uns will think you're fibbing when you tell of this trip 50 years from now!

    1. You're so sweet. Please give Grandma a big hug for me when she returns! Anita, too! And tell Andrea it's time to start planning another trip to San Diego!
